was born in 1960 in a small reservation in Montana.

In college is where she met her husband michael, they got married and went on to have two children.

Kimberly has went on to wright 6 books, all on the topic of anishinaabe culture, traditions, and folk tales.

as a fond memory she remembers her dad singing old german folk tales.

when she was a teen, her parents moved to a reservation in white earth minnesota.

kimberly often would recall the anishinaabe stories her mother would tell her before bed.

when she grew up she went to college in wisconsin, and became a proffesor. There she taught and gave lectures on books and poetry.

The most famous book kimberly has written is "Trailing You" wich is about indian folk tails, and adventures of there everyday life.

was awarded the native american appreciation award, and given credits by from the UMD college.

kimberaly has always liked teaching people. she never thought she would write books, but when she started, she loved it.

kimberly has said in a interview that she cant see herself retiring, because she enjoys teadhing and telling people about her heritage

today kimberly still has alot of fans from minnesota, they even made her the kimberly blaeser fan page. she is so thankful for her fans and all there support. she kmows without them her books would not be as succesful

what inspired her to write books, and write them on anishinaabe culture is the way she grew up with her mother always telling stories about her indian heritage, and thats what inspired her.

when asked in an interview if she could go back and change anythimg, she said no because she believes everything happens for a reason. she stated shes loved every minute of her life and career.

Today kimberly lives happily in wisconsin with her husband and two children, she still teaches as a proffesor at UMD, she still lectures on the anishanaabe culture, and her books.

She was born to parents of german and anishinaabe decent.
