Standard High School Diploma Requirements

1. Credits

Earn 24 credits, required and elective courses. Standard pace - 3 credits per semester (6 classes @ .5 credit) / 6 credits per year.

Entering freshman may bring credits with them that count toward fulfilling graduation requirements.

2. Competencies

Computer skills. pass a “ Computer Basic Skills" course or a proficiency test..

3. Career-Related Knowledge and Skills

Develop a personalized education plan (PEP) and build an education profile, demonstrate extended application of academic knowledge and skills through a collection of evidence, demonstrate career-related knowledge and skills, and participate in career-related learning experiences as outlined in the educational plan.

Reading, writing, math

5. Capstone Project

Students can work on the project starting in 10th grade. A minimum of 10 hours are required to be completed in 12th grade. . Students present in their senior year.
