Absolute Location

The Dead Sea

The absolute location of the Dead Sea is 31.5 degrees North, and 35.5 degrees East.

The Dead Sea is one of the saltiest seas in the world. It is the lowest spot on the planet, and cannot support ANY life of any kind because it is so salty. It is SO salty in fact, that the rocks submerged in the water are slowly coated with salt.
