The Evolution of

The idea of Twitter was originally established by Jack Dorsey, who had wanted to use his cellular device as a convenient source of communication. With the intention of sending mass messages to his contacts, became easily approachable by simply contacting each other in a conductive way.

How was Twitter created?

Given that this brief idea could generally be expanded upon, he brought the idea to a company called "Odeo". Gradually, he encountered two active investors for "Odeo" by the names of Evan Williams and Biz Stone, who both has previously founded various internet companies. As the three founders came together, in 2006 Twitter was released to the public.

Why is Twitter special and successful?

Twitter has about 230 million users that are tweeting approximately 500 million tweets daily.

The three founders exhibit the developing accomplishments of the notoriously known social networking chain. The idea of Twitter became special and successful due to the enhanced way of communication and interaction with others through breaking news, political discussions as well as marketing purposes. From a simple idea, they were able to revolutionize an improved way of broadcasting messages immediately. All in all, Twitter has quickly become an improved way of social interaction with others and had made a vast impact on users by becoming as essential part of the modern day society.

Throughout their hardships and tiresome procedures, the three founders displayed persistence, cooperation & hardworking skills. Along with the incredible risk taking skills they possessed by not knowing the outcome when creating the sensationally popular site.

The steps to success were having Twitter being feasible; as a result of the definite potential to succeed on account of the growing population of Twitter users. Marketable; They catch the attention of many people and are being marketed with the help of the users ie) stores and restaurants

Profitable; Lots of profit due to the ongoing tweets that are being submitted daily, alongside the millions of twitter users. Twitter receives a royalty fee for anything tweeted.

When being named one of the most popular social networking sites it is extremely beneficial to protect the idea. Twitter is being protected by copyright and trademark by preventing people from using their logos or trademarks. Moreover, by submitting any content through Twitter gives them the right to receive royalty free licensing by using or reproducing content.

Twitter is known to be an innovation due to the expansion of other social networking sites such as Facebook. It had generated new ideas to improve upon the previous existing sites in the hopes of introducing new methods to our modern day society.
