Why did we need it?

It allowed people to record music off a record or radio.

We now have technology that allows us to transfer music from cassettes to mp3 or discs.

The Nike PSA Play 120 was the first music player that could be used for exercises. it was released in 2001.

This music player was important because it was the first time you could exercise while listening to music without risking damage to your music player.

It was the first MP3 player of all time which made it very important.

The first portable music player was the Walkman. Sony created this between the 1970s-1980s. It was about the size of a cassette player. It came with lightweight headphones and was powered with AA batteries. The original price of the Walkman was about $274.

The MPMan was the first MP3 player of all time. It was released in 1998 and was created by SaeHan.

Why did we need it?

CDs were the beginning of digital music. You could travel with digital music wherever you went.

This new iPod brought color to the screen and had up to 60 GB of storage.

How does this technology work?

The fifth generation Apple iPod was released in 2005.

Apple released the first iPhone and iPod Touch in 2007 which were both big hits.
