It was the first time it was possible to travel with your music so it was very important.

Why did we need it?

It allowed people to record music off a record or radio.

We now have technology that allows us to transfer music from cassettes to mp3 or discs.

How does this technology work?

The Nike PSA Play 120 was the first music player that could be used for exercises. it was released in 2001.

This music player was important because it was the first time you could exercise while listening to music without risking damage to your music player.

Why do we need it?

It was the first MP3 player of all time which made it very important.

The first portable music player was the Walkman. Sony created this between the 1970s-1980s. It was about the size of a cassette player. It came with lightweight headphones and was powered with AA batteries. The original price of the Walkman was about $274.

The MPMan was the first MP3 player of all time. It was released in 1998 and was created by SaeHan.

Why did we need it?

CDs were the beginning of digital music. You could travel with digital music wherever you went.

We needed this because it was the start of one of the greatest music players and companies.

The little lines on the CD stores the music and it is read by a CD player which produces the music.

How does this technology work?

This was the first Ipod, it was released in 2001. Steve Jobs said it could hold “1000 songs in your pocket.”

The iPod had a 5GB hard drive, a rechargeable battery, and a paradigm breaking user interface. Steve Jobs said it could hold “1000 songs in your pocket.”

In addition to music the owner of this device could record video and take photos, with a camera attachment.

The Archos Jukebox Multimedia was a MP3 player that had a camera. It was released in 2000.

We needed this device because it was first portable multimedia device.

The second generation Apple ıPod was realized in 2002. Also Apple launched the Apple ıTunes store.

We did not really need this device at that time because there were other devices out their that could do the same job.

This technology offered large amounts of storage and compatibility which helped store large amounts of music.

These devices would be the kind of music players we have today.

Both these devices had Web connectivity and software that was able to be downloaded. Also they both had touch screens.

How does this technology work?

These Two devices were needed because they were one of the first music players to have a touch screen.

Why do we need it?

We needed this music player because it was the first time that their was color on a music player.

Why do we need it?

Iphone and Ipod Touch

This new iPod brought color to the screen and had up to 60 GB of storage.

How does this technology work?

The fifth generation Apple iPod was released in 2005.

Apple released the first iPhone and iPod Touch in 2007 which were both big hits.
