Contour drawing, also known as continuous-line drawing, is an artistic technique used in the field of art in which the artist

Value drawing is the type of drawing in which

are visible. Blended shades are drawn to show the illusion of
implied lines.
The artist's goal is to depict the
highlights and shadows
of the object, often in realism.
