Roald Dahl

Roald Dahl, was a British novelist, storyteller, poet, screenwriter, and combat pilot. He born in Gales on September 13, 1916, with his immigrant parents from Norway.

Characters

He served in the Royal Air Force during World War II. He became a flying ace and intelligence officer, reaching the rank of acting wing commander. His years of service in the war were from 1939 to 1946.

In the 1940s, he became one of the most widely read novels for children and adults in the world. Dahl's short stories are known for their unexpected endings, and their children's books for their unsentimental, macabre, often obscurely humorous humor, with villainous adult enemies of children's characters.

Dahl finally died on November 23, 1990 (74 years old).

Mr Botibol : He was an american good man on an english cruise across the Atlantic Ocean and his wife Eithel was at home.

He had not too much money, unlike the people who were on the cruise. convinced that he would win and earn a lot of money, he decided to bet two hundred pounds to guess the miles traveled by the ship on the day.

Botibol could not see her face well, she seemed very cheerful and kind but she could had a mental illnes.

Summary

William Botibol was on a british cruise. Convinced that he would win and earn a lot of money, bet two hundred pounds to guess the miles traveled by the ship in one day.

The man bet the low field (the ship would travel less than the captain said), trusting that the storm in the area would help him.

The next day, the sky was clear and he knew that he had lost all the money he bet and all he had. He would have to do the impossible to save himself
