Apodyterium

It was the last room in the Thermae.

The Apodyterium was a big dressing room, where the people, went to wear their clothes again.

Palestra

Tepidarium

It was the first, and the main part of a Thermae.

Tepidarium was one of the smallest room of a Thermae. It was a little site, with warm temperature, and it was used to equalize the temperature of the body, with the atmosphere one.

Description

The palestra, was an outside ground, in the middle of the Thermae. It was a viewer for the other rooms, but it was used to do sport and exercise, too.

Thermaes

Parts of a Roman Thermae

Thermaes, were the places where the roman people, went to have hot showers, or to meet other people. There were for poor people, because they hadn't enough money, for buy a private one.

Frigidarium

The Frigidarium was one of the most important rooms in the Thermae.

Tabernae

It was a little shop, where they could buy some drinks, food, and other products for sporty people.

They were near the bathrooms.

Description

It was a big room, with a lot of pools inside there, but with cold water.

In some big thermaes, this room was inside, and it was used to practise swimming.

Caldarium

It was the hot water room. It was the lightest and more luxury, too. There were big swimming pools inside, with hot water, where the people went and have relax inside them.
