Of Polar Ice-Cap Biomes

Polar Ice-Cap Biome is a region that is covered in ice most of the year. These regions contain large portions of the arctic and the antarctic.

The polar ice-cap biome is cover in ice caps which is definted by a high-laditude region of a planet or moon that is covered in ice.

Animals that occupy the biome.

Plants that occupy the biome.

A part from some different types of algae, there is no types of plants that grown on ice.

Many animals that occupy the polar ice-cap biome are foxes, polar bears, caribou, ground squirrels, wolves, wolerines, ermines, musk oxen. Some marine animals include walruses, seals and whale with a varity of raptors and seabirds.

Climate of the Biome

Below freezing all year round.

Greenland lies in the Polar Ice-Cap Biome. People that live in Greenland depend on the polar regions for fishing. They then adapt to the environment, by wearing lots of layers of clothes because of the climate. Greenlander modify the enronment by decreasing the fish population in the rivers and lakes.
