In Fahrenheit 451, the social implication is clear. Media,technology,and television have taken the place of books, and people are less interested in the world of ideas.

This novel's social implication is relevant to society because,according to Ray Bradbury, "You put it [book] in your pocket, walk with it. And it stays with you forever. But the computer doesn’t do that for you. I’m sorry."

Captain Beatty is a flat and static character. Beatty is Montag's boss. He is a firefighter captain.He is the antagonist of the story.
