- The waist line was cinched in after the 1920s
- Skirts were just passed knee length
- Heels became thick and sturdy
- A-line skirts were very simple to make so they were a big trend
- Military/puffed out shoulders on tops

These girls became popular in the 1940s and 1950s. The pictures of these girls would be hung up in the men's lockers during the war. The time called for elegance
