Resolution

Darcy and Elizabeth live at Pemberley, and Bingley and Jane purchase an estate near. Lydia and Wickham stay together, and ask for money frequently. Kitty Bennet is kept away from Lydia because of her bad influence.

Falling Actions

1) Elizabeth receives and reads a letter from Darcy explaining his conflict with Wickham, and why he broke up Jane and Mr.Bingley

2) Elizabeth goes on a trip with her aunt and uncle, Mrs. and Mr. Gardiner and they stop at Pemberley, Darcy's home.

3) Elizabeth gets news that Lydia has run away with Wickham. Her family is worried, then they get more news that they have been married. (Which Darcy has paid Wickham for, to ensure both reputations since he marries for money and would have left Lydia.

4) Bingley proposes to Jane and she accepts.

5) Lady Catherine visits and insults Elizabeth, after hearing a rumor about Darcy proposing to her.

6) Darcy proposes to Elizabeth and she accepts.

Climax

Rising Actions

Darcy proposes to Elizabeth, confessing that he loves her, but she declines, hurt by the news she has just learned.

6) Bingley throws a ball where Elizabeth is upset that Wickham did not come as well. Mr.Darcy asks her to dance, making both of their feelings more obvious.

7) The Bennet's male relative, that is to inherit their home, comes to visit. He is looking for a wife and proposes to Elizabeth who declines. He then proposes to Charlotte Lucas who accepts.

8) Elizabeth goes to visit Charlotte, who is living with Collins on the Parsonage on the estate owned by Lady Catherine.

9) There she meets Fitzwilliam and finds out that Lady Catherine is Darcy's aunt. And runs into Darcy on her visit.

10) Elizabeth finds out that Darcy broke up the potential marriage between Charles and Jane.

Rising Actions

1) The story continues when the Bennets go to a ball thrown by Bingley.

2) At the ball Jane dances with Bingley twice, sparking their romance and Elizabeth meets Mr.Darcy who is rude to her and refuses to dance.

3) Jane goes to the Bingley's home after being invite by Caroline Bingley. She gets a cold and must stay.

4) Elizabeth comes to visit and has conversation with Mr. Darcy and Caroline Bingley. Including a battle of the wits with Darcy and ignoring rude comments from Caroline.

5) Elizabeth meets Wickham once they return, and starts to fall for him. She also discovers that he and Mr.Darcy have a past conflict.

Exposition

In Longbourn, England Mrs.Bennett is trying to find husbands for her five daughters. The perfect oppurtunity for this arrives when there is news of a wealthy man, Mr.Bingley, moves to Netherfield Park.
