The Rocky Mountains National park is
located in the north central part of the U.S in the state
of Colorado. The park covers around 265,761 acres of the land in Colorado's northern front range.
The park is split by the continental divide.
There is an eastern part of the park which has a dryer climate. The western part of the park has a more wet climate. The Rocky Mountain National Park has three ecosystems. The Montane, the Subalpine and the Alpine. The Montane which is at the lowest elevation, which tends be a dryer climate. The Subalpine which tends to have more moisture is the middle elevation. And, the Alpine which is at the highest elevation tends to have harsh weather and high winds. The park has a wide variety of trees, plants, and wild life. Each of the elevations levels have different variations of vegetation and a variety of animals. The Rocky Mountains National Park is considered to be one of the top wild life watching destinations.
If you would remove mice from the food web it could cause a chain reaction because the animals that feed off the mice could tend not to survive. So, in turn that population could die off. If that population of animals would die off so could the animals that feed off of them, leading to extinction.
