Determine the main idea of a text and explain how it is supported by key details; summarize the text. Cognitive Complexity: Level 2: Basic Application of Skills & Concepts

Clarification:

Students must identify the main idea and find the most important details that strengthen the main idea. They must also explain the text in their own words.
