Australia's government is divided into three sections the legislature, the executive, and the judiciary branch. In these sections the power is distributed.
Just like America, in whom they get a lot of their laws from, they have their private sections so Australian's population doesn't take control and over use some things. For example, the government controls the banking process of it's people. People do control property rights and are free to spend their money as needed and wanted
These branches are distributed into three categories the legislature, executive, judiciary branches.
1. The legislature (or Parliament) is responsible for debating and voting on new laws to be introduced under the power of Section 51 of the constitution.
2. The executive (also known as Ministers) is responsible for enacting and upholding the laws established by the legislative branch are also members of the executive, with special responsibilities for certain areas of the law.
3. The judiciary is the legal arm of the Australian government. it's independent of the other two branches, and is responsible for enforcing the laws and deciding whether the other two branches are acting within their powers.
Australia is pretty strict on the rights of other's and making sure that everyone is accepted by the rights. For example they believe in gay marriage rights, same rights for women, and equality for blacks, white, women, and gays. One law they have made for gays is called LGBT (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexual, and Transgender).
The form of Government in Australia is a constitutional monarchy. Constitutional because the powers and procedures of the Australian government are defined by a written constitution and monarchy because Australia's head of state is Queen Elizabeth II.

Worth of individual- For all citizens over the age of 18 it is mandatory to vote in the election of both federal and state government , and failure to do so can lead to a fine of high money or prosecution. Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender people in South Australia state of Australia have some of the same rights as heterosexual people. Same sex couples can enter into a domestic relationship though the lack the ability to adopt, surrogacy, and reproductive technology rights.
Equality- Australia believes in the rights and equality of everyone. They take these things very seriously because they believe in the protection and promotion of human rights in every country should be mandatory. women are powerful agents in change for peace and for security. Involving women in ways to resolve conflict is not just an exercise for heir gender equality but for government embracing their laws. it is the key strategy to improve the chances of peace or development. The more involved women are in the peace process as peace builder, the greater likelihood of lasting peace and development.
They believe in minority rights, that the overall majority should not be in complete control and that the minority should have rights and say so in some opinions. Australia before 2008 had set laws that majority rules and that the minority didn't really matter to much. All that change after a law was passed and the minority had a voice along with the rest of the population of Australia. Also they believed in Equality very strongly and made sure all people had the same rights as others.
