Shields are protective armors that greece people would use to protect them selves when they were at war.
SLAVERY
Slavery played a major role in ancient greek civilization. Slaves could be found everywhere.
They worked not only as domestic servants, but as a factory workers, shopkeepers , mineworkers, farm workers and as ship's crew members.
WRITING
The Ancient Greece were the first Europeans to read and write with an alphabet, which eventually led to all modern europeans languages.
CONTRIBUTIONS
Ancient greece is not just ancient history.The legacy of this classical culture has had a significant influence on culture today, from athletic specticles such as the olympics to the story telling structure of Hollywood films
BELIEFS
Many of the greek people believed that the major olympian gods or goddesses ( Zues, Poseidion, Hades , Apollo,Artemis,Aphrodite,Ares, Dionysis,Hephaestus,Athena,Hermes, Demeter, hestia,and Hera) although philosophies such as stoicism and some forms of platonism used language that seems to posit a transcendent single diety
GOVERNMENT
The greeks had a lot of different kinds of governments , because they were many city-states in Ancient Greece , and they each had their own government .In addition, peoples ideas about what made a good government changed over the time.
Economy
The economy of Ancient Greece was largely defined by the regions dependence on imported goods. Due to the poor quality of Greece's soil agricultural trade was of particular importance.
