Maritime Safety and Pollution
Terrible things are happening to our oceans and all in it.
Its called Pollution, pollution it like littering but on a much larger scale, to a point where it affecting mammals, fish, and all other organisms in the ocean and lakes. Plastic can rings are suffocating creatures, oil poison’s them and causes them to turn black and very sick.
A lot of people think its okay to pollute the ocean because its so big, that may be true, but people shouldn’t be doing it anyway, nonetheless overdoing like they are these days. Lots of species have become extinct since people have been polluting the oceans, maybe even species we haven’t discovered yet! The ocean might be big but more and more of it is being lost to pollution, soon we may not have any ocean left! Another thing that is bad because of pollution is fishing, people don’t fish in areas of the ocean where its polluted so by using the same area’s more often, people over fish and once again other species, such as tuna, may become extinct.
The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is also another good point to talk about in the terms of oil and pollution. The recent spill sent millions of gallons of oil splashing out into the Gulf. Thousand of fish and birds were killed, some injured, and a lot on shore being cleaned by scientists. The ocean is still currently being boomed and cleaned with different chemicals to remove oil from the water.
If people don’t stop polluting the ocean with plastic, glass, soda can rings, and other garbage, the ocean wont be so much of garbage in the water, but more water within an ocean of plastic and garbage; that’s right, its possible!
The ocean will slowly be filled with garbage and oil and other junk that could be properly disposed of if people weren’t so lazy. Soon people will be polluting the world and not only endangering and causing species to go extinct in the ocean, but on land too. The world will be polluted and poisoned, causing the atmosphere to become unbrethable and brown and grey colors. The world will become corrupt and wiped out of the solar system.
Becoming a feutile resistance planet for hostile unearthly scums………………, yeah that was probably the worst case scenario;but the first bit was completely true. If people don’t stop polluting the sea will become a plastic uninhabitable abyss. So people really need to stop polluting. And one of the worst things I’ve seen, is that sometimes people tell others not to pollute, and then they go right ahead and drop a hamburger wrapper on the ground. So if you want others to stop polluting, I has to start with you!
