Pressure

Tornadoes- A lot in the funnel of the tornado.

Hurricanes- A lot of pressure around the eye but not in the middle of the eye.

Amount of Damage

How are they Destroyed

Tornadoes- could not find this data

Hurricanes- No water, cold water

They have around the same amount of damage.

How are they created

Wind Speed

Size

Duration

Tornadoes- Around 100 MPH

Hurricane- Has to be at/above 74 MPH

Tornadoes- Less than ten minutes

Hurricanes- A few Hours to a Week

Tornadoes- When there is a storm and then different wind speeds make a funnel cloud

Hurricanes- When water evaporates and then are twisted in the air.

Criteria of your own- which one has more deaths associated with them

Hurricanes have more of a potential to be deadly

Tornado: There are three sizes; weak, strong, violent

Hurricane: Determined by the size of its diameter. The average diameter is around 100 miles.

Where they form...
