Independent Agencies

Ambassadors

The three types of Independent Agencies are Executive agencies, regulatory commissions, and government commissions. These types of agencies are different because they have their specific set area and field to work on.

An ambassador is someone that we send into a foreign country. However, we only send them when we recognize that the government is legally holding all power. Also an ambassador must be approved by the Senate before leaving.

This is a group that of department heads or leaders that meets with the president. Once the president decides when to meet the heads of each department discusses the problems in their department with the President.

This is a group of agencies and departments that give the president information of foreign policies that are involving the main goals. The four members of this or the people that are helping the president are the State Department, Department of Defense, Central Intelligence Agency, and the National Security Council.

There are many powers that were specifically given to the president in the constitution. For example, the president is given the power to pardon someone. This means that he can take away any charges or consequences a person has from Also another power that the president is given is to choose cabinet members.

This is a group containing three people that helps the president with important and serious economic matters. Some examples for what they help with is "unemployment, tax policies, inflation, and foreign trade"

There are two things that go into the vote. Those two things are the popular vote and the electoral college. The citizens vote for the popular vote and then the electors or the electoral college vote for what the people want. Then which ever candidate has the most votes wins.

This is a group of people that have pledged to their state to choose the candidate that got the most votes from the general population. So in other words the he majority of the people want.

This is when we trade with each other inter. However there are a lot of rules and agreements that regulate what gets sent where. There are two major agreements that exist. One is the NAFTA. This agreement is between the United States, Mexico, and Canada. So it deals with the trading between them. Another is the WTO. This deals with trading on a global scale and involves trading with all the nations.
