Madagascar Location
The Island of Madagascar is located South East from Africa.

It is 250 miles off the Eastern coast of Africa.

Madagascar is South of the equator making it in the Southern Hemisphere

Mozambique is North-West from Madagascar

Italy Location
Italy is located in Southern Europe, which is placed in the Northern Hemisphere

It is boarded by France, Switzerland , Austria and Slovenia

Capital city, Rome, is located in the west central part of the country

Located in the Tyrrhenian sea
Madagascar Landscape
Madagascar's most prominent feature would have to be there steep mountain range

It is about as large as France and Belgium

There are many tropical Forest and narrow coastal plain, Plateau and mountains in center

Area covers 587 041km
Italy Climate
Italy mostly has a mild, mediterranean climate

The far north is cold, and the South is rugged, hot and dry

The driest month is July, with only 17 mm of rain, with the average temperature of 24.4C

January is the coldest month, with the average temperature of 7.7C

Rome's average temperature is 15.7C, with the average rainfall of 798 mm

The Island of Madagascar is South East from Africa, from which it is seperated by the Mozambique Channel. Madagascarchas a coastline of 5,000km and is at the Southern limits of the tropics. It's area is 587,041 square km. It is located in the Indian Ocean and is not connected to Africa. With Madagascar not so far off the equator, the climate is tropical with two seasons. There is a rainy season lasting from December to April, and a dry season lasting from May to November. The most prominent feature would have to be the steep mountain range reducing the size and amount of buildings. When they build houses , they use the whole landscape including the mountains so that they have enough houses for the population of 22.92 million. The houses area all ended up clustered together and are constructed by varying materials found around the Island. Sice the climate is always warm, this allows them to play there three major sports, Soccer, Athletics snd Rugby Union. The average farm size was 1.2 hectares and the irrigated rice plots were 0.5 hectares. There are farming methods that vary from one ethic group to another.
Italy is located in Southern Europe, and is in the Northern Hemisphere. Europe is a continent that comprises the westernmost part of Eurasia. Europe is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Most of Italy has a Mediterranean type of climate, which has cool, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. Winter temperatures along and near the coasts of southern Italy seldom drop to freezing in winter, and summer temperatures often reach 32° C or higher. The landscape in the far south, and on Sardinia and Sicily, is rugged and mountainous. There are three volcanoes in Italy - Mount Vesuvius on the mainland, Mount Etna on Sicily, and the island volcano of Stromboli. There three most popular sports are Volleyball, Soccer, and Basketball and since the weather is quite fine there, it will be easy to play these sports. Houses are clustered together upon mountains.
