Castelmola is a beautiful village in Taormina. The village is small and well preserved on top of a knoll overlooking the Ionian Sea. The name Castelmola is from the large rock which it stands, similar to a wheel. In 1928 Castelmola was annexed to the cit of Taormina.

In 1954 Isola Bella was bought for 30,000 euros. It is located in the Ionian Sea. In 1984, it was determined that the island is a beautiful monument of historic and artistic interest. Isola Bella is still just as beutiful today, and a popular tourist attraction. Isola Bella has a tropical climate.

This park used to be home to Florence Trevelyan (Queen Victoria's Cousin). A notable couble of building still stand called the Victorian Follies. Lady Florence helped draw attention to Taormina and died in 1907. The climate in parco Comunale di Taormina is 10-15 degrees celcius. Io vorrei mettere in valigia abiti caldi e leggere un libro.

Piazza Del Duomo has the beautiful chiesa di San Nicola, which was built in 1400. At the center of the piazza next to the church, there is la baroque fontana. On each of the fountain’s four sides there are small columns supporting basins. Mythological ponies overlook the basins and fountain water flows out of their mouths creating a beatiful fountain.

Giardini Naxos

Giardini Naxos is an Italian town, and resort to tourists. In 734 BC it was thought to be the first greek settlement in Taormina, Italy. Currently, Gairdini Naxos attracts mainly German and French. The waterfront is full of restaurants and pizzerias. In 1861 the population was 1,901 people, and by 2011 the population increased to 9,268 people.

Greek Theatre

The Greek Theatre is one of the most amazing monuments remaining in Taormina. Made of brick and 120 meters in width the stands from even before the 2nd centry.

Palazzo Corvaja is a sicilian palace from the 10th century, that was built by Arabs that ruled that section of Italy (Taornmina) and was named after the Corvaja family, It was transformed into a museum in the 1900's. The climate is about 17 degrees Celsius. Io vorrei metto abiti leggeri, e prendere in giro per il museo.

Corso Umberto is the pedestrian only main street in Taormina. Shops restaurants and hotels fill corso umberto crowded with many tourist. The busy main street goes through several places like Medieval Quarter, Piazza Aprile and Piazza Duomo.

Mt. Etna is an active volcano and the tallest volcano in Europe standing 3,329 miles tall and covers an area of 459 square miles. Its last eruption was an ongoing eruption starting in 2013 and continued into 2014. Mt. Etna is one of the most active volcano's in the world with almost constant activity.

The Blue Grotto was a tourist attraction in the 1800's, and also was the inspiration for many Poseidon related works of art. The blue color is caused by reflection by the sun and tours of the Grotta Azzurra are available today still. The climate is about 17-20 degrees Celsius. Io vorrei portare pantaloni corti e maglietta, e fare un tour.

Io vado il Lido Mazzaro a nuoto in la mare e ad abbronzarsi a la spiagia. Io piace la bella spiagia e la bella clima in Lido Mazzaro. io porto il costume da bagno, occhiali da sole e sandali.
