Condensation

Precipitation

Sources

When water vapor cools and turns back into liquid droplets. Clouds are then formed from this.

When rain, snow, sleet or hail falls from the clouds onto the Earth's surface. Most precipitation falls as rain. Precipitation falls from s due to wind or temperature changes.

The Sun's Radiation

Gravity

The sun starts the cycle y heating all water on Earth and making it evaporate.

The creates force propelling the water cycle. It pulls precipitation down from clouds and pulls water downhill. Gravity also moves air and ocean water.

Transpiration

Plants release water vapor into the air through their leaves. Accounting for a small portion of all evaporating water. The roots of plants absorbs water and pulls it toward leaves where it used photsynthesis.

Noun Project

Liquid is turned into gas which requires heat. The gas that water is turned into is called water vapor. Most evaporation occurs from the oceans.

Runoff

Water runs off the surface of the Earth. When snow melts into water it also leads to runoff.

Infiltration

Some of the water that precipitates does not runoff into the rivers and its absorbed by the by plants or evaporated.
