Book Definition: The geographical situation of people and things.

Book Definition: The mobility of people, goods, and ideas, across the surface of the planet.

What that means: Location is, in general, the positioning of people and things on the surface of the earth.

What that means: Movement is any way things (ideas, people, and goods) can get from one place to another.

Human/Environment Interaction

Book Definition: Reciprocal relationship between humans and environment.

What that means: Human/environment interaction is is the effects human have on the evironment and vise versa.

Book Definition: Uniqueness of a location

Regions

What that means: A place is a specific location that offers notable factors.

Book Definition: An area on the Earth's surface marked by a degree of formal, functional, or perceptual homogeneity of some phenomenon.

What that means: A region is an area or division that is definable by certain characteristics.
