There are any different reasons why someone would rebel, one of those reasons is because people disagree with the current laws of authority, they have a different view about people what should and shouldn't be aloud to do. Another common reason for rebellion is because others simply don't like anyone telling them what to do.

How is rebellion related to Fahrenheit 451?

The characters in Fahrenheit 451 must rebel in order to gain a full comprehension of their society. Its seems as if their knowledge and education is very limited so in order to save the books that are being burned someone must defy the laws and seek the truth themselves. By having the characters rebel Ray Bradbury was emphasizing the fact that literature and education is a very important thing, and by keeping people in the dark, its easier to control them.

Dystopia

Who is involved in these types of societies?

Everyone who lives in this society is involved, such as the political figures running the dystopian government (along with their policemen), the citizens, and the citizens who attempt to rebel against the government.

When do Dystopian stories take place in literature [the time of it]?

THE FUTURE

These stories often take place in

the future; it shows us the possibility of what our future could

look like in a fictional format.

Why can Dystopians

become possible?

A Dystopia is a means for political rulers

to manipulate their people; allowing

them to be in control of their people

and their thoughts;

and therefore, them.

If the government is able to cease control on things that may influence one's ideas, they would have power over the individual.

How is a

Dystopia related to

Fahrenheit 451?

"...the state burns books

out of fear of what they may

incite [encourage or 'stir up'..."

THE END!

Rebellion

and

Rebellion

Where are Dystopians located?

Dystopians may be located in any country that is run by a Dystopian government. Usually, the location of the where-abouts are in large, strictly-monitored cities.

Back in June 2011 the greek parliament made an empty promise to the people of Greece to rein in debt levels that threatened to collapse the countries economy. People were enraged. This video shows people in Athens rioting and riot police trying to control the crowds.

A rebellion is an act of violent or open resistance to an established government or leader.

What is a

Dystopia?

Who is involved? : Anyone who is a part of the

Dystopian society is involved

with it; whether it be the political figures

of the society, the citizens who follow

the laws and ideals of the society, or the

people who rebel and attempt to take

down the government

EVERYONE

Wikipedia's definition of what Dystopia means is as follows:

"...[it] is a community or society that is in some important way undesirable or frightening. It is the opposite of a Utopia (...a community... possessing highly desirable/perfect qualities).

:)

Since books contain ideas, and the state burns

these books, they're burning other ideas that

aren't their own; thus making the society a

Dystopian.
