AD Poly was established by the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) and licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to offer a dual educational-professional training system with multiple high-tech disciplines (specializations) to produce technologists and engineers to serve the UAE industrial manpower required for Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.

Admission Requirements
- Science stream students graduated after June 2010.
- Minimum average 70% and above.
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic band 5.0 and above or equivalent.
- UAE nationality with a valid family book and a current UAE passport & Emirates ID Card.
- Applicants will have sponsorship from an official industrial organization.
- Applicants must pass an admission examination and interview.
- Applicants must produce a recent police certificate of good conduct.
