Why Burton Uses Gothic Styles

Growing up, Tim Burton always watched Gothic horror and mystery movies. His favorite actor in these movies was Vincent Price, who helped inspire Burton's unique style. While living with his grandmother, Burton had an odd childhood, living next to a cemetery, watching horror films, and developing a love for drawing. All of these factors influenced Burton's current Gothic style of film making (Animationbegins).
