Being at home, Newton was sitting under a tree thinking about life when an apple struck him on the head. The story says that Sir Isaak Newton discovered then the phenomen of the gravity.
In 1696 Newton became the master of the Royal Mint (where the currency was produced) ) in London. He took his duties seriously and tried to get rid of corruption as well as to reform the currency of England.

He completed his bachelor’s degree at Cambridge University’s Trinity College in 1665 and wanted to continue his studies.
An epidemic of the Great Plague (dżuma) in London (1665) changed his plans. The University closed his doors. Around 100,000 London citizens had died. Newton went back to his home town and began working on some important theories like motion and gravity.
He was a first scientist who was knighted.
He was kinighted by Queen Anne in 1705 and could be called "Sir".
