The Third Beatitude

Fortitude is staying strong when things are hard.

It is also resisting sin or temptation. If you have fortitude you can overcome fear and persecution.

The second beatitude

Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is

kingdom of heaven

Matthew 5:3

Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted

Matthew 5:4

Blessed are the meek,for they shall inherit the earth Matthew 5:5

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,for they will be satisfied.

Matthew 5:6

Virtue-Selfless

The virtue for this beatitude is selfless. Those who are meek are selfless and true. One way to be meek is to put others before yourself.

dear, lord please help me to be fair with my

words and my actions. Please help those who

are being hurt with others actions and words.

Prayer

Dear Jesus please comfort me when I am sad. you are always there for me when I am sad. Help me to help those who are sad and to be there for them.

Dear Jesus, help us to be humble and to live out this beatitude. Help those who are not poor in spirit to be more humble, Amen

Virtue-Remorseful

Prayer

Lord please help me to be patient. Help me to be patient with those who lack patientce themselves.

The virtue for this beatitude is remorse. Those who mourn have sorrow or remorse. An examle of remorse is showing symopthy towards others.

Virtue -Humility

The virtue for the first beatitude is humility. Being poor in spirit is accepting humility. An example of showing humility is not to brag or boast to others.

Blessed are the clean of heart for they will see God Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the merciful for they will

be shown mercy Matthew 5:7

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness for theirs is the kingdom of heaven Matthew 5:10

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God Matthew 5:9

Dear Lord, help me to be more like the pure in heart. Help those who are deep in sin.

Virtue-Forginess

Courage is when you overcome your fears and carry on with spreading God's will. When someone has courage they have no fear in the face of danger.

The clean of heart or pure of heart have few or no sins. The clean of heart will see God because they seek to fulfill God's will.

Those who have peace are strong with God's word. They also understand God's word. Peace is one of the fruits of the Spirit.

Prayer

Dear lord,

please those who are not being shown mercy. Help me to show mercy to others

Mercy is showing forgivness towads

others. An example of forgivness is doing something nice for someone who has done something mean to you. Forgivnes is loving someone who has wronged you.

Dear lord, please help me to have courage and spread God's word. Help those who have no courage

Dear lord, help me to bring peace to the world and others
