1. Cultural Diversity:

  • Cultural diversity reflects in many things like music, art, food, race, etc. This is because of globalization and the new technology we have access to.
  • For examples, McDonalds has become global and people recognize the logo, “M”, all around the world!
  • Globalization has encouraged culturally blending and created a lot of business opportunities.

2. Information Technology:

There is an increase in information flows and a larger transporter data flow between geographically remote locations (Kafedry, 2008).

1.https://sites.google.com/site/accessissues/characteristics

This website was very useful because it really explained in depth the characteristics of globilization. I found that it was a hard concept to grasp but this website is perfect to help people having a better understanding of what globilization actually is.

2.https://dus.psu.edu/mentor/old/articles/080820mc.htm

This website was a very reliable source because it provided many different websites for me to explore and to continue to gain more information. It also, did a great job at giving examples on why it is important to inform our students about globilization.

3. http://www.preservearticles.com/2011100314528/what-are-the-characteristics-of-globalization.html

I learned a lot about Global State vs Global Civil Society. It also provided different articles for you to view which was very helpful.

The world is changing! It is so important that our students are prepared for all the changes. The more students know about globilization, the more they will succeed in this globalized world. Students need to have an understanding of the diverse components and cultures of the world. Once they have an understanding of this, they can understand the interconnectedness of globalization.

Globalization has increased the growth of the international corporations.

Talents mobility and cooperation can increase the business performance.
