Book Report Quarter 4: Looking for Alaska

Rising Action

Falling Action

Climax:

After having a wonderful break, and successful prank Alaska frantically leaves the dorm room crying at about 2 A.M. Drunk, and disorderly Alaska has a server car accident, and dies on impact.

These firecrackers were a big role in the best prank pulled on Culver Creek:

This picture resembles the look on the deans face when the prank was pulled on his lawn:

Rising action 3:

It's now Thanksgiving break, and Pudge, Colonel, and Alaska have a great idea of pulling off a big firework prank while most of the students were heading back home. The prank is a success and still is the best prank pulled on the dean at Culver Creek.

This represents Alaska whom was so beautiful Pudge fell in love with at first sight:

This represents the awkward conversation that Pudge and Laura had after their bad date:

Falling Action 1:

Pudge, and the colonel go on an investigation to figure out why Alaska left. Suicide? Bad break up? or was it a way of her escaping the suffering labyrinth she referred to but no one ever really thought she was taking things seriously.

Rising Action 2:

In the midst of Pudge's learning experience he meets Alaska Young. Alaska was off limits due to a long distance relationship, but to Pudge was love a first sight. To cope with not being able to have Alaska as a lover he starts seeing the foreign exchange student Laura. Let's just say that their first date ended catastrophically, and led to a long period of awkward/embarrassing silence between the two.

This represents smoking and drinking which all the students at Culver Creek have had their fair share of doing:

The weekday warriors were a group of preppy jocks that were under the who to avoid advice:

Rising Action 1:

Falling Action 2:

After the "Weekday Warriors" duct tape Pudge and throw him in lake the Colonel decides that Pudge needs to learn the roles of the school, where he fits in and the unauthorized things as well. (Smoking, drinking, pranking, and who to avoid!)

Coming to conclusions with the evidence the boys have found from the investigation they realize that Alaska had forgotten to visit her mother's grave on the day of her death and sped away frantically to visit the grave. This then gave Pudge the answer to the way out of the suffering labyrinth. Forgiveness. For Alaska never forgave herself for the loss of her mother.

A short stocky man with glasses resembling the character of Chip:

This image resembles what Culver Creek would look like with the dorms being all in a row:

Resolution
