Like a newborn baby cub needing its mother for survival, humans in this world need someone to look over them with any dilemma that they may encounter. If you decide to assist those who are in need, you may that you have a lot in common with them , and you will have an opportunity to make a new friend.

Personal Experience Example
Putting others before yourself is the best thing to do because in return, they may help you in the future, when you need help.
For example, in elementary school there was a kid and he was never cared for. When we went outside we invited him to play with us. It made him so happy and he ended up helping me and helping me and I thought that is what I got in return.
. like in the army lots of people care for others so they can survive and win the win the war. If they didn’t care for each other they would fight bye them self’s and die.
If somebody needs help and you put that person before yourself you will get to know that person and find out that you and that person have a lot in common and before you know it you have a knew friend that will put you before himself.
In conclusion, think of people that people don’t care for and let them know that you do, and make him feel better and less lonely, or invite someone to a game of tag and let him know you care for them. Later on, they will return the favor, and you will gain friendship.
