The Answer

After the War

Well,we learned that at first he was severely unsuccessful in battle. After he was under the command of General George Washington, he was more successful. He actually led people to victory. He was so good, in fact, that people insisted that he lead them politically as well.

After the revolution, the colonies needed strong political leaders, so the asked him to be on the Continental Congress. He declined, and instead served as the governor of Georgia. After his one year term, he was asked to do another, but he declined that as well. He was the sheriff of Chatham county. He died at the age of 41.
