When traveling in India, you may see some cows out of their fences.

One thing you will NOT see in India is a rump steak, or someone harming a cow. This is because cows are sacred in India. This is because cows pull ploughs along fields and give milk to make cheese and cream.

In India, most of the people there follow the religion of Hinduism,

The Ganges

The Ganges is the largest river India. Despite being the most polluted river in India, it is like a sacred god to the Indians, who bathe in its waters, which are believed to cleanse the soul.

On the banks of the Ganges, there are some people that row people out to the water for rituals and ceremonies, some boats were originally for fishing until fishing was banned for sacred purposes
