A Christmas Carol is set in a poor section of London, England, during the Industrial Revolution in 1800s. The book takes place mainly in Scrooge's business, Scrooge's house, and Bob Cratchit's house.

Charles Dickens was born in Landport, Portsmouth, on February 7, 1812. Charles was the second of eight children to John Dickens , a clerk in the Navy Pay Office, and his wife Elizabeth Dickens . The Dickens family moved to London in 1814 and two years later to Chatham, Kent, where Charles spent early years of his childhood. Due to the financial difficulties they moved back to London in 1822, where they settled in Camden Town, a poor neighborhood of London.

In my opinion the book is boring but i think that this is for are in English. But the book for one part is interesant becouse it teaches you to changes your thoughts and also teaches you how are the live before

The book tell the story about one old man that is despicable, this man hate the Christmas and is negligible with all people, but the night of Christmas Eve they started to happend a stranges events in her house, and when sleep appeared three ghost one to past, other to present and other to future they taucht the happen in the future and herbad acts. Since this moments Scrooge change for be a good person
