- Watch other valuables too!!-Managed a whole month around Europe and my Phone stolen after one night in Dublin!

Letters/Documents
- FRIO CASES!
- Amount of supplies to bring:
Bring more than you need! Twice as much. Bring extra back up (things you mightn’t even think you’d need: novorapid pen, cartridges novor./levimir)
- Back up pump!
- (a lot of expensive equipment- WATCH IT!) …BRING A LOCK, if you don’t trust a place-bring valuables with you.
Airport Security:
- 2 pumps going through walk-through metal detector (NO X-RAY)
- Health/Travel insurance...Does the regular insurance cover those with diabetes?
- VHI Multi-trip
Actually Inter-railing!
- Change time on all devices
- Can set different basal patterns/ take one day at a time; every day was different after all
- Tested more often
- Glucose tablets/carbs always with me!
- Pump's location on the body

A Challenge I faced
Introduction
- Photocopied all important documents; prescription, passport, insurances
- Make sure travelling companions are well informed!
- UCC; Music
- Diabetes since I was 9, pump since 14
- Travelling always a big ambition of mine

- Taking pump off
- Testing more frequently
- Several corrections that evening
to get numbers back to normal
