How We Got This Idea:
We were all looking for a good genius hour project that was fun and hands-on. We thought that making our own Thneed was a perfect idea for all of us!
Shirt:
We bought a shirt called A "popcorn" shirt. It's a stretchy, silky material. How we made this a shirt, is kind of self-explanatory.

What Is a Thneed?
"It's a shirt. It's a sock. It's a glove. It's a hat. But it has other uses. Yes, far beyond that. You can use it for carpets. For pillows! For sheets! Or curtains! Or covers for bicycle seats!" - The Lorax
Thneeds are made of Truffula Trees! The "leaf" produces super soft fabric, when woven. They come in vibrant colors like, orange, pink, red, and purple.

Steps to making a thneed:
1: Plan out how to make a shirt have multiple different uses.
2: Find a shirt (or material to make one) and buy it
3: Get all the materials you will need to make one (and shape it into a thneed)
4: Start cutting and sewing the shirt so that it has multiple uses
5: Wear the new made thneed with confidence and show off your new look!
