GWA as the EPC contractor will also be the principal contractor for overall project responsibility regarding Health and Safety. All smaller contractors still have to meet legislated requirements regarding white card and supply training certificates for the activity that there may be engaged in. If you are unfamiliar with developing SWMS (safe work method statements) for work activities, then assistance will be given to achieve compliance
White Rock Wind Farm
The project itself will last for approximately 18 months with a 12 month intense period of work activities which could see as many as 250 people employed on site at the height of construction.
In addition to the main contractors there are a number of smaller contractors required to assist the EPC’s responsibility for the project.

GWA as EPC contractor will be looking to recruit the following employees to manage the site office for the period of the project.
Site Manager
Installation Supervisors
2x Health Environmental and Safety personnel
Admin Personnel
To achieve this the EPC contractor needs to engage the main civil contractor, electrical contractor, logistics contractor and installation contractor (BOP). All these companies will be looking for equipment, additional labour, supplies, housing etc.
EPC Contractor
Is responsible for the overall construction of the wind turbine generating plant 175MW of power (Wind Farm)
