The First Thanksgiving was between Englishmen. They came to the New World from England to break away. They settled AROUND Plymouth plantation and had what we would call the First Thanksgiving/Feast.
The harvest feast celebrated by Pilgrims and Wampanoags in the fall of
1621 was the first of its kind in the Americas.
