What is a truth in this myth?

The Pilgrims and Wampanoags did indeed had a feast in 1621, but it wasn't the First Thanksgiving.

The Difference in the Myth

The First Thanksgiving was between Englishmen. They came to the New World from England to break away. They settled AROUND Plymouth plantation and had what we would call the First Thanksgiving/Feast.

The Original Myth

The harvest feast celebrated by Pilgrims and Wampanoags in the fall of

1621 was the first of its kind in the Americas.
