Now there is many types of dissolvable clothing they have made scarfs, skirts, pants, suits, and dresses.
Dissolvable Laundry Bags
- Dissolvable Laundry bags were the first to become dissolvable. The laundry bag was created to help contain bed bugs. Once you get bed bugs you need to take all of your clothes out of the room but you need to be careful not to spread the bugs around the house. So the dissolvable laundry bag was made so you can throw all of your stuff in the bag and strait to the wash, not spreading any bed bugs.
The Dissolvable Dress
Fashion Designer, Professor Helen Stoney, and chemist, Professor Tony Ryan, came together to try to solve the problem with people throwing away clothing and wasting fabric when they grow out of their clothing. They came up with the dissolvable dress. The dress is safely made to withstand a sweaty party and take overnight to dissolve in water.

Before dissolvable clothing their was the dissolvable clothing tag. The tag is made up of soap and paper because most of the time the tag recommend you wash the item before wearing it. The tag is to make it easier to wash the cloths the first time. All you do is put it in the wash and the tag will disintegrate to soap.
Doctors came up with the idea to have dissolvable stitches. It would be so much easier to put stitches in someone's mouth if they would just dissolve in a week or so. The stitches can be used internal and external.
