The Golden Age allowed the progression of science and technology because England had so much money at the time. The English could spend more time focusing on other things such as : science, technology, poetry, and literature since they didn't have to worry too much about their economy.

The Golden Age was also peaceful because the conflict between the Protestants and the Catholics decreased. The Parliament and the Monarchs also reduced their arguments therefore creating a relatively peaceful time period.

Since England's economy was in such good shape at the time, England could focus its attention elsewhere such as poetry and literature. Poetry and literature became entertainment and was greatly improved upon.

Shakespeare during the Golden Age took the lead in writing literature which he used to entertain people. People had money to spend during the Golden Age and they tried to find ways to entertain themselves.

Queen Elizabeth I was a ruler that was strong headed, smart, liked among the people, and had her own particular personality.

She was a strong leader

Her reign was called the Golden Age.

She became queen following a bad period

Queen Elizabeth was naturally gifted and she had the determination to be studious. She was always very careful dealing with negotiations with other countries. Most of the time she would hold up decision-making until the last minute, which for the most part gave her an advantage since other rulers weren't so patient.

England during the Golden Age had the best navy in the western hemisphere. They also beat everyone in the western hemisphere in commercial affairs.

Her father killed left and right.

Tomatoes, turkey, and spices became abundant in England from England's different colonies. These foods had never been experienced in England before the Golden Age.

Elizabeth I became queen in 1558 and she died in 1603.

During this time, the wool industry began to grow in England making many people very rich. The wool also greatly improved England's economy.

Elizabeth's parents were King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Anne Boleyn was executed because she was accused of adultery.

Elizabeth the first had another sibling, Henry Fitzroy, the son of Elizabeth Blount.

She had a half-brother, Edward VI and a half-sister, Mary I.

Jane Seymour was Edward VI's mother making her Elizabeth's step-mother.

Elizabeth I had another step-mother who was really nice to her, insisting that Elizabeth have an education. Her step-mother was Catherine Parr.

Elizabeth lived with Catherine Parr, but later was kicked out because of some business dealing with Catherine's husband, Thomas Seymour.

Queen Elizabeth achieved many accomplishments as Queen of England such as resolving the war between France and England, bringing back the church, and also destroying the Spaniard's naval fleet as they tried to attack England.

The reign of Queen Elizabeth brought peace between the Protestants and the Catholics as well as a prosperous economy.

Her reign also brought entertainment in the form of literature, music, plays, and poetry.
