When one studies music, the notes are read out loud as A, B, C and so on. The notes are understood based on their position with respect to the staff. Since the symbols are read out, without the symbols themselves expressing the pronunciation, it makes them logograms.

Sms language is made up of acronyms and short forms of words which are easily read and understood as their full forms, without expressing its pronunciations. The need to create these acronyms came about due to the limitations of the number of characters allowed in text messages originally.

Symbols like Mr. Mrs. and Dr. are commonly read out as words like Mister, Miss'es, and Doctor, thereby making them Logograms.
