This is going to play abig role for me personally going forward in my teaching career . Having a teacher that is providing specific scaffolding techniques or checking for understanding while the other teacher is conducting the lesson is exactly what my students need in certain subject.

Student who is receiving special education services is in a general education setting for the majority of the day. Supports by teacher or accommodations are made for the student. Support comes to the student!
Inclusion vs Mainstreaming
Student is part-time general education and part-time in special education. This is built into the students IEP and collaborated with general education teachers.
Communication
Its key that dealing with students who are suffering from a disability receive quality care for their teachers. This is finding out what works for them individually students who have mild/moderate disabilities all learn different, so its up to the case manager and team to find the best route of learning for each individual student. To constantly keep relevant data and try new approaches.

We are all in this together! Making sure that all teachers feel apart of the building by having students and teachers constantly interacting with each other. Making sure that all people play apart and involved in department meetings in their subject other than special education. Where they are located in the building making sure that all special education students in one particular area of the school, Making sure that all the proper supports in place by having every teacher feel like every student is their student. Educate your regular education teachers, so they can be effective in their classroom.
