Second Goal: to improve Carla's communication by lessening the sounds sued to communicate and use words to strengthen her tongue and throat muscles in order to swallow and talk minimally by three months. This will be monitored by the Speech Pathologist.
First Goal: Carla will be given a daily detailed food schedule, for her low potassium it will include bananas, avocados, and yogurt. For her weight gain, milk will be given along with nuts for another source of protein. This will all be monitored by the Nutritionist to get her back to a healthy weight. With this specific diet, it will help her muscles prepare and gain the strength to start PT and OT sessions.

The Nurse: Will perform persistent physical examinations and work to build a strong bond with the patient. Also, tend to the wound of her Achilles Tendon surgery, making sure an infection does not take place and coordinate/oversee care being administered by other healthcare professionals making sure Carla will be receiving the correct information.
The Physician: Will adovate for Carla's general health by keeping up with regular check-up's and reffering her to the specialists needed.
The Physical Therapist : Will work with Carla using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent any further disabilities
The Occupational Therapist: Will work on Carla's motor and everyday skills to build muscles and strength throughout her body to engage in everyday activities
The Nutritionist: Will provide a strict diet for Carla to improve her nutrition levels, strength, and weight.
The Speech Pathologist: Will help to strengthen Carla's tongue and throat muscles as well as areas of communication and swallowing.
