On the way home from the Halloween Pageant, Scout and Jem were attacked by Ewell, but Boo Radley killed Bob and saved the children.

Mr Bob Ewell, spits in Atticus's face and declares revenge.

Tom Robinson gets shot 17 times, trying to escape from jail. However, if Tim did not have a crippled arm, he would have been able to escape, as he was running at a fast pace.

The trial of Tom Robinson takes place.

Scout walks Boo home, but never saw him again due to his shyness and childlike behaviour.

Tom Robinson was declared guilty, but was really innocent.

Scout discovers what Jem and Dill are planning; writing a note to Boo Radley. One night they decided to peek at the Radley's windows. Jems pants got stuck in the fence and were mended by Boo Radley when he returned.

Miss Maudie's house burns down. Scout and Jem, come home with a blanket around them with no clue who gave it to them. However, it was realised it was given to them by Boo Radley.

Calpurnia, decides to take Jem and Scout to Church. No hym books were used, instead the songs were sung through echoing the priest/preacher. Ten dollars of money was required in order to help Mrs Robinson and the children as she could no longer work.

Atticus get given an overwhelming amount of food, from the Robinson's to repay him.

Scout and Jem find items in the knot hole of the Radley's pecan tree.

Jem cuts Mrs Dubose's flowers. Resulting in Jem and Scout having to read to her for an entire month as punishment. Miss Dubose later dies of a long battle with a morphine addiction.

Atticus, shoots Tim Johnsons dog, revealing to Jem and Scout that their father had what was known as the "deadest shot in Maycomb County".
