Resolution
The resolution is when he realizes that nothing was going to change.
"Gazing up into the darkness I saw myself as a creature driven and derided by vanity; and my eyes burned with anguish and anger."
Falling Action
The falling action is when he finally gets to the bazaar, and he refuses to to buy anything from the merchants.
"...the young lady came over and asked me did I wish to buy anything."
Climax
The climax of the story is when he says he is going to the Araby, and that he will get Mangan's sister something there.
"If I go". I said, "I will bring you something"
Rising Action
The rising action is when the boy and Magan's sister talk for the first time.
"At last she spoke to me. When she addressed the first words to me I was so confused that I did not know what to answer. She asked me was i going to Araby. I forgot whether. I answered yes or no. It would be a splendid bazaar; she said she would love to go."
Exposition
The story takes place in North Dublin, where a small boy lives. Ever since the boy saw the Mangan's sister, he became infatuated with her.
