The Rights Approach

Ethical action that protects and respects moral rights of those affected.

Includes rights to individual choices of what life to live, truths to be told, not be injured, and degree of privacy.

The Common Good Approach

The Virtue Approach

The ethical action that does the most good or does the least harm.

Deals with consequences when trying to increase the good done and reduce the harm done.
