Professional Sports Wage Inequality

Payout by FIFA to 2014 men's champs Germany: $35 million. Payout to 2015 FIFA women's champs USA: $2 million.

Gender pay inequality is outrageous

Professional Basketball

For a WNBA player in the 2015 season, the minimum salary was $38,913, the maximum salary was $109,500, and the team salary cap in 2012 was $878,000.

Professional Sports Gender Pay Equality

Professional Basketball

For NBA players in the 2015-2016 season, the minimum salary is $525,093, the maximum salary is $16.407 million, and the team salary cap is an all-time high of $70 million.

This is CRAZY!!!

How is it that the best women basketball player in the world's salary is that much less than a player in the NBA who just sits on the bench and has never played a game in his life.

To end wage gaps between genders, our community as a whole has to except women as equal to men.

Don't get me wrong, in 2015 we have made a huge deal about making women equal to men, but we can still do better.

The minimum salary cap in the NBA is over $415,000 than the maximum salary in the WNBA!

The average man gets paid 21.7 percent more than the average women.
