And why do we use coal?

We use coal as an energy source. Coal generates 44% of our electricity. The United States even has huge coal reserves. But, coal is the biggest air polluter in the U.S because burning coal causes smog, acid rain, global warming, toxic air, and more.

How could we fix the use of Coal?

Scientist say we've used coal since Caveman. We could do many things to prevent coal to run out. There are more than 600 coal-fired plants operated today in the U.S. One main idea was throw the old Coal plants away and keep the new ones. The U.S is spending lots of many for nothing. That could also let us electricity faster and better.
