-Alexander Hamilton believed that people should put their own interests above of country's.

- He also thought that people were basically selfish and out for themselves.

- Thomas Jefferson had faith in the goodness and wisdom of people.

-He felt that owed the France for helping the United States in the Revolution.

- Alexander Hamilton believed that wealthy, educated men should run the country.

- He also thought that Congress had powers beyond those stated in the government.
