The Witch of Blackbird Pond

  • Historical Fiction: This book takes place in the late 1600's centering around a young girl named Kat who is accused of witchcraft.
  • Graphic Organizer: Timeline based around the books events, and actual historical events.

Timeline Activity

For Homework:

Directions:

1.) You will be individually making a timeline based on the book The Witch of Blackbird Pond

2.) Include 8-10 facts that occurred in the book

3.) Include at least three pictures on three of the events

1.) In your groups you will use your resources to find historical events that occurred on the North American continent in between the dates given to you.

  • Group one: 1600-1629
  • Group two: 1630-1659
  • Group three: 1660-1689

2.) You must find at least three events, and give three details about the event.

3.) When finished picking the events, draw one picture to go along with one of the events.

4.) You have 10-15 minutes :)
